A new case today. The claimants arrived home to find water pouring from their new ‘chrome’ boiling water tap, causing flooding and extensive damager to their new kitchen! I’ve used one of these ‘hot/boiling’ water taps recently to make a cup of tea. To be honest, I prefer to use a kettle.
Also today, we have started to investigate another potential carbon monoxide poisoning case. A case where the waste flue emanating from a fairly new boiler had become detached in the loft of a property. The owner of the property claims that they have suffered headaches and other painful symptoms because of the CO circulating around the property.
I find these cases very interesting to solve. I keep you posted on progress.
With my kindest regards
In April Dr Robert Brown, appeared on the BB1 television program ‘Don’t Get Done Get Dom’ giving advice on behalf of the programs presenter Dominic Littlewood. ‘Dom’ was trying to help Tracy Dillon a Leicestershire based equestrian centre owner on a problem she had experienced with the centre’s electricity supply. Miss Dillon had paid approximately £200 in the first two quarters in her occupancy of her equestrian centre yet then was most alarmed to receive an electricity bill for £2100 in the third quarter. With Dr Brown’s help ‘Dom’ successfully resolved Miss Dillon’ dispute with Atlantic Electric.
Dr Robert Brown, Senior Partner at Bralsford Brown recently made a recording for the BBC television day time program ‘Don’t Get Done Get Dom’.
The program fronted by Dominic Littlewood, features and describes a case where the quarterly electricity bill for a particular property was five times greater than the previous two quarters.
Dr Brown investigated the circumstances surrounding the case and will be seen in the program, to be screened shortly presenting his expert opinion on the case.
